One Church Many Locations
Past
- In 1908, forty people gathered to organize Union Baptist Church.
- In 1916, the church changed its name to Sunshine Baptist Church.
- In 1919, the church bought a one acre tract on the corner of Staples and Holly.
- In 1949, the congregation changed its name to Gardendale Baptist Church in order reach the new Gardendale neighborhood being built around the campus.
- In 2005, the congregation changed its name to Real Life Fellowship in order to implement a multi-site strategy to reach more people with urgency.
Present
Real Life Fellowship is a multi-site church with campuses in several cities in two states and on the Internet:
- Calallen Campus - Launched in January 2008
- Corpus Christi Campus - moving to Flour Bluff in October 2008
- Flour Bluff Campus - newly renovated facility launching in October 2008
- Hartwell Campus - Launched in January 2008, located in the historic downtown area of Hartwell, Georgia
- Portland Campus - Launched in April 2006 and now meeting in two services each weekend
- Real Life Online - our Internet Campus, bringing people together from all over the world including missionaries, military personnel overseas, etc.
Future
- In October 2008, the Corpus Campus will move into the newly renovated facitly in Flour Bluff that will launch the Flour Bluff Campus.
- We also have 20 acres on South Staples and are looking forward to building a new facility and launching the South Corpus Christi Campus.
- Other New Campuses - As God opens the doors: San Antonio, Houston, North Corpus Christi, Florida, etc.
